Sen. Ted Cruz, Radio Host Clay Travis to Stump for Andy Ogles in Franklin as Part of PAC Bus Tour

As Election Day nears, a Political Action Committee (PAC) is hosting a bus tour that will stop in Franklin, Tennessee, to rally for former Maury County mayor and U.S. congressional candidate Andy Ogles, bringing with it some notable names in the world of politics.

“Truth and Courage PAC #TakeBackAmericaBusTour is hitting the road to educate and equip conservatives all across the country,” according to a media advisory from that group. “Join us to hear directly from national and local leaders who are taking the charge to save our great nation. Midterm elections are around the corner and so is the TAKE BACK AMERICA Bus Tour, bringing the red wave to you! The opportunity to win back America is now.”

In Franklin, part of Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District, where Ogles is running for U.S. Congress, the bus tour will feature political commentator Clay Travis and U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX).

The event will be held at Jamison Theater Wednesday night and will also feature a performance by the band Alex Smith’s Mobile Homeboys.

“Truth and Courage PAC was formed to Train, Equip, and RALLY conservative activists across the country to ensure that we conservatives WIN our races this November,” according to the organization’s website. “We are not just talk, we will be showing up and helping to support conservatives on the ground so we can capitalize on the huge opportunity we have to WIN BACK AMERICA in 2022!”

Truth and Courage PAC also hosts events in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida this week.

Cruz is listed as a speaker at each event.

Ogles is facing off against Democrat Heidi Campbell in the race for TN-05.

That district is listed as “Likely Republican” by Cook Political Report, which predicts which party will win elections in each congressional district.

Recently, Ogles was endorsed by a PAC called Tea Party Express.

“We are pleased to support Andy Ogles for Congress because he has a demonstrated history of advocating for conservative principles and working to bring fiscal responsibility to every level of government,” that group said.

Andy needs to fire his Clown Posse of advisors, but it is nice to see he is getting off the couch. I’d like to see some ads with DUI Heidi’s mugshots.

Maybe DUI Heidi and DUI Tre can do a DUet together…

I thought Franklin was still in the 7th District. Why not actually stump in the district that you are trying to win?
